How are the two tie downs attached to the rear wheel? Can you elaborate please? I have a Vulcan 900 I am trying to haul in uhaul truck to a long distance move

@Al3xtati0n …I got the tie downs from walmart.

@tiacapri I dont remember…i think it’s a 10′ truck

what size uhaul is this, looking to do the same thing in a couple weeks but imma need the next sz up from this. thanks!

@JillsTheme Just use one of their motorcycle trailers. It’s cheaper and the front wheel chock will be more secure. You’ll still need cables to tie down.

@JillsTheme … compress the front forks as much as you can when tying down the handle bars. you can put some rags where the tie down might chafe on the painted surfaces…when the bike is fully tied down, put some boxes around the bike to block it from falling down..just in case the tie down gets loose while you’re driving :)

I will have to do an exact same thing in Uhaul in a couple of week. Do you have any advice or suggestion when tying it down in terms of technics? I’d really appreciate your answer.

@acedanger49
it’s just a regular tie down from your local automotive store…mine is the heavy duty one…I think its rated 1000 lbs
